1: IPCC report

On 20 March, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published a report on the latest research on global warming. The report states that greenhouse gas emissions must be almost halved by 2030 to limit global warming to a 1.5°C rise. The report says that "Options available now" must be implemented to achieve this target. This report also comments on the need for "Sharing of diverse knowledge" to enable effective climate action.

It concludes, "Our choices will reverberate for hundreds, even thousands, of years."

2: Carbon reduction benefits of reducing checked baggage

Reducing checked baggage through our clothing rental service can reduce the carbon footprint of air travel to Japan (round trip) by 149 kg. This effect is equivalent to planting 186 trees. In terms of CO2 emissions per person, the reduction equals 11 days of CO2 emissions. If limited to the living sector, the reduction is an overwhelming 179 days. Reducing checked baggage through our clothing rental service is a "Options available now.

"Even if you don't use our services, you are encouraged to tell your family and friends about the CO2 emissions reduction benefits of reducing checked baggage as "Sharing of diverse knowledge."

"Our choices will reverberate for hundreds, even thousands, of years."
