We have compiled a list of the 100 Best Vegan Restaurants in Japan. The list is based on a unique analysis of vegan restaurants on several food review websites, including vegan magazines. It ranks them as the 100 best restaurants in Japan. According to Japan's food review website, Tabelog, there are only 12,671 restaurants (1.5% of the total) in Japan with 'vegetarian menus.' Although the number of strictly vegan restaurants is small in Japan, this list will improve convenience for foreign visitors.
